Tony Loftis, President and Executive Director
Tony Loftis is an experienced communications professional and educator with a strong background in social media. He’s the founder of Find Your Missing Child, an nonprofit organization that teaches social media skills to parents searching for missing and runaway children.
A Huffington Post blogger about the intersection between parenting and Internet tools, Mr. Loftis writes about how to keep kids safe online and how to find them when they stray.
He has appeared on NPR, PBS, AndersonLive, Mashable and the Boston Globe among other media outlets.
As a seasoned public relations manager, he led the communications efforts for both startups and household brands, carefully blending social and traditional media programs.
Jay Greenspan, Technical Advisor
Mr. Greenspan is a highly skilled and experienced leader and producer of original digital media products. He leads teams that deliver high-quality, high-value web sites, mobile applications, and social media projects. He is experienced in personnel management, web building, video production, writing, editing, scoping, and writing specs. Mr. Greenspan has previously worked Expertinsight.com and Apple Computer.
Todd Van Hoosear, Social Media Expert
Mr. Van Hoosear had led regional, national and global public relations teams in the telecommunications, CAD/CAM, networking and Web spaces with great results. Along the way, his technology background ensured that he was an early social media and Web 2.0 adopter — launching his first blog in 2004.
Van Hoosear serves as a founding member and interim board member of the Social Media Club and currently runs the Boston chapter; serves as vice president of social media for the Publicity Club of New England; was recognized as a 2009-2010 Fellow of the Society for New Communications Research; and sits on the IABC’s Social Media Release Working Group — ensuring that PR and marketing are well-represented in social media efforts.
Jane Winsor, Graphic Designer
Ms. Winsor is the principal and owner of Winsor Cobb Design in South Boston. Her team of seasoned professionals has gained recognition for creating clear and thought-provoking design solutions for clients from a wide range of sectors. Heading a team known for its long term relationships, Ms. Winsor trust us to create enduring brand identities that effectively balance beauty and functionality across print and interactive platforms.
David Ayer, Treasurer
David Ayer has more than 15 years of hands-on finance and operations experience. David is currently the CFO for White Rhino Productions. Prior to that, he was the Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration at Lois Paul and Partners, a public relations agency for the technology, healthcare and clean tech industries, headquartered in Boston, MA. In this role, David is the senior executive responsible for directing the agency’s finance, human resources, IT and operations management functions.
David holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Rhode Island and a master’s degree in Accounting Information Systems from Bentley University. While studying at Bentley University, David also earned an Internal Auditing Certificate, endorsed by the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). In his free time, David enjoys cycling in Boston’s leafy green suburbs and traveling.
Mr. King is a senior marketing professional with over a dozen years background in the high tech market. He is skilled in all facets of marketing communications, including leading PR account teams, developing overall company market positioning and messaging, directing product launches, drafting marketing collateral and working closely with sales on new initiatives to drive revenue.
Mr. King currently serves as Corporate Communications Manager for network equipment provider Enterasys Networks. There he is responsible for directing all public and analyst relations programs, as well as acting as the social media lead for the company. Mr. King holds a BA from Providence College and also an MBA from Bentley University.
